Size #2 Cone Reusable Hemp&Organic Cotton Coffee or Pour Over Tea Filter

This listing is for the SIZE #2 Cone style reusable coffee filter made with a natural Hemp & Organic Cotton blend muslin (55% hemp, 45% cotton).

I use these daily for brewing my coffee, but they are also great to have around just for those coffee emergency days when you have run out of filters and forgot to put them on your shopping list.

Care and washing: After I'm finished brewing, I dump the spent coffee grounds in my compost bin and rinse the filter, then hang it to dry. About once per week I soak the filters for 2 or 3 minutes in a bowl of warm water with 2 tablespoons of baking soda then thoroughly rinse, and hang to dry. The heavier the use, the more often I do the baking soda "soak".


Please note:

My original coffee filters are made with two layers of fabric. I like my coffee to "Steep" longer, so I prefer the two ply filters.
However, I have had so many requests for single layer filters with a faster drip/flow, that I have switched to making the filters with a single layer of cloth now.
Therefore, as of mid May 2023 I am making filters with one layer of cloth. If you would instead, like to receive the two ply filters, please let me know when you order and I will accommodate your request.
